Feminist Blogger Refers to her Unborn Baby as a Parasite and a Tick
Her emergency contraception failed, so she became pregnant. Now, she's announcing that she's killing the baby. Her language is quite interesting, and I'm not referring to the swearing:
As I posted this morning the EC failed and I'm currently taking other steps while I gather the money I need to finish this thing once and for all. And you know what? Every time I think about it I refer to this fetus as a 'parasite', a 'tick' and other things I won't even mention. Z expressed frustration and wondered why women would do this and I can answer her question. The answer may not sit well with her, or with anyone else, but nonetheless it is the truth.
I am fucking angry as hell that around every corner I am faced with people who believe that the life of this fetus is worth more than MY life, or the lives of my children.
What she fails to realize is that this baby is one of her children. Why is she differentiating this child's life from those of her other children? Is it because she just doesn't want this child so this child's life has no meaning? What if she no longer wanted her other children? Would their lives suddenly lose meaning as well? Would she then decide to get rid of them?
This seems to be how she and other pro-death feminists view unwanted children. The lives of their unwanted or unexpected unborn babies are expendable because the only thing that matters to them is their happiness and their fulfillment, regardless of the fact that it was their behavior that produced this child in the first place.
Just because this woman can't see her baby or touch her baby or hug her baby doesn't mean it's not a baby. Her unborn child has DNA that's as complete as that of her other children. Her unborn child is just at a very early stage of development, whereas her other kids may be toddlers or preschoolers or teenagers.
Anyway, she continues:
It becomes a question of how much shit can you take before you begin to actually hate the thing in your womb.
"This thing"? I can hear the hatred and desperation in her voice. What a shame.
Unfortunately, she looks at abortion a way to strike back at pro-lifers. It's her way of saying screw you. She thinks this will hurt us; it won't. It will kill her baby. Her child. It will also destroy a piece of her soul, which she will never be able to get back.
As a result of publishing her intent to abort her baby, she has received a lot of hateful comments on her blog, which, in my opinion, are completely out of line. She is so misguided and self-absorbed that she is eager to kill one of her own children so her life won't be inconvenienced, even though she invited this child's conception. She shouldn't be hated. She should be prayed for. What a miserable life she must lead to have such deep hate for an innocent being who did nothing wrong but come into existence through no action of its own. Someday, she will be haunted by her decision. And when she is, I hope she turns to Operation Outcry for help.

The whole episode would have been avoided if the afformentioned blogger diddn't encounter a wee bit of trouble getting access to emergency contraception.

Actually, if the woman doesn't want more kids.... why doesn't she get sterilized?? Don't blame lack of emergency contraception.

It also could have been avoided if:
1) She chose better protection or had a plan when the condom broke, i.e. not relying on others or assuming she could just get EC.
or
2) Not made this whole episode public by blogging about it!
She is wearing this incident like a badge of honor. And she is as hateful and incendiary as what some of those *sshole commenters are writing.

Pity the poor man who shacked up with a gal who calls herself the Biting Beaver.
Funny, with her whole "gnawing away at patriarchy" thing going on, you'd think that she would have at least demanded that her partner get a vasectomy.
Of course if you are too chicken to marry, then you are probably too chicken to get yourself neutered.
It seems that what we have here is a failure to commit, for both the Biting Beaver and her unfortunate mate.

I really think this whole thing is a hoax.
There is a paypal account set up to donate money and her site bashes men. If it is not a hoax, she is a miserable creature.
